Welcome Realm! I think you'll find that if you avoid blanket generalizations and don't make statements you are unable (or unwilling) to back up... your experience here will be far different than Edward's was. I look forward to your input.

Hmm. You guys don;t waste anytime. I already know what I'll say, but not being a newbie at this, I also know how you'll reply Tongue

Let's see... 'so an so' said to be ready to back up what I say... and Atheists are usually (hope that pro "make u feel good about yourself blankets" are permitted) clever... no doubt you will be.

The answer is experience, the one thing you cannot hold over my head, since it is unique to each person.

Because of stories my mother told me from her childhood.

Because of the memories in mine.

Because I am still sane. I will elaborate if you want, but I won't give you a life story unless asked.

Because of good influential people in my life.

Because everyone I could depend on gave glory not to themselves, but to a higher power.

That was amazing to me, since I grew up attention deprived and bragged to get the attention I craved.

Personal Experience.

Do I have reasons to strengthen that belief?
Hell yes, that above only got me to the alter, it took a lot more for me to get where I am today, but what I've told you is the root system of my beliefs, I trust now I will har similar stories concerning atheists and hw they eventually overcame their "brain washing?"

:/

I hope this was mildly satisfactory.

P.S. Realm - hi.

Hi. Why bother to answer a simple hi? 3 reasons, because you said hi, you appreciate people noticing, and I like to make people happy.

WATSON!!!! he was so much smarter than Sherlock, but of course Lock is my fave.

A quick question, how exactly does Agnostic Christian work? I am in my dorm right now, munching on McD's from last night, I laughed (mouth full, so it didn't end well Sad) and shook my head at the sight. I mean no offense, but it is air to admit I am skeptical. Just a quick elaboration (look at me using big words xD) on what your definition of Christian and Agnostic should clean it up.

Nothing Watson says ever cleans anything up.

Not his style.
