Many Feminists won't call themselves Feminists, it's a branding issue, if you believe men and women should have equal rights you are by definition a Feminist, there's no lack of shaving or demanding gingerbread men be renamed gingerbread people required

It's true that there's some misguided Feminist viewpoints but you could say that about any cause, just or otherwise

By that logic, anyone organised around anti-religion = Bad. Religion is just after all, an opinion.

If 20% of women only identify as Feminists, despite 90% + believing in equality, then I think that is largely indicative of what Feminist has mostly descended into; theories like rape culture are nonsensical, they argue that society glorifies rape, which we know isn't true.

I could easily identify Tf00t as a religion because he always rants about how feminism sucks and has been doing that for months (or a year? On February 2012, in a thread on the MensRights subreddit about a distasteful username on a feminist board, he made a "joke" about how he wanted to violently rape one of its users. When he was informed the person in question was an actual rape victim and called out by said person for his abusive language and lack of respect for people with post-traumatic stress disorder, he complained about the very concept of trigger warnings and posted further graphic descriptions of how he would rape her again in a deliberate attempt to make her relive her trauma. Choice statements include "I will make you a rape victim if you don't fuck off." and "I think we should give the guy who raped you a medal. I hope you fucking drown in rape semen, you ugly, mean-spirited cow."[1] Supposedly this was some sort of clever satire of... something.[20] This "Amazing" guy was taken to task by PZ Myers and others for his misogyny.[21][22] [23] He did eventually apologize. As for your little reply - First, why are you starting on the premise that both genders are equal already? What makes you think that? Have you lived this life as a woman to socially experience what's like to be a women and experiment advantages and disadvantages? Have you read surveys? Interviewed women from different demographics?

Secondly - I can't really talk about any particular state or local city, but I can tell you that most certainly someone will say rape victims had it coming because the shirt was too short, it happens all the time. Judges telling 13 year olds that they cannot be raped because they look older. Judges saying rapists that it's not their fault. Judges allowing rapists to get away because the girl (read - Child) seduced him. This isn't happening in Indian. It's happening in the west, and it happens many times. Just last year in the city where I personally live a judge told a paedophile that he would do community service and was not going to jail because the 12 year old girl truly seduced him and was attractive. This was accepted as a normal sentence. Do you think it's a coincidence most rapists don't spend a day in jail and most victims distrust the system? Do you think rape myths like the behind the alley knifepoint rape are not widespread? Do you think our education is good enough and that we couldn't improve the odds of people not raping others by implementing better sex ed (instead of showing kids hollywood movies where women always allow men to enter the vagina and it is considered normal and a romantic goal)


PS - The definition of privilege is actually an anthropological one that is highly valued by specialists - It's prejudice + power - Because without power you can't influence anything. It's because of anti-feminist atheists that the world has proven being an atheist isn't a safeguard to being sane... It never was to begin with... But I don't get along with most atheists and most people I meet anyway, so it's not new.

Some attitudes on anti-theism do resemble a religion and become dogmatic. I see no reason to think otherwise.

Well Terroja is an asshole, but is there any conclusive evidence that it's Amazing Atheist?

I don't think accusing him on weak evidence is really fair and it doesn't really seem in-character for him to do.
