Certainly a step in the right direction.
Poe's Law: "Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that SOMEONE won't mistake for the real thing."
10 Christ-like figures that predate Jesus. What I'm pleased about is that this law is written in a way it's not forcing people to immunize -- UNLESS you want to send your kid to public school, which I'm fully in support of. Public schools are not a place to send a kid who is a danger to other kids.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
Hopefully, more states will pick up on this. Protect the kids in the public school system while relieving the public school budget (albeit, slightly) from the anti-vaxer ass-hats who pull their kids from public school. Win-win!

Out-fucking-standing. Refusal to vaccinate your children, other than those almost unimaginably rare instances where the vaccine is more of a risk that the disease it's intended to prevent, should be viewed as reckless endangerment.

Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
Awesome ... this anti-vax bullshit needs to stop, and I'm for coercion when the justification is, preventing pandemics!

Refusing to vaccinate your children should be treated exactly like refusing to feed your children thus allowing them to die - As a a crime.
I don't see why the focus on public health - Yeah it's important but only secondary - The rights of children are one of the most important political and social advancements of this century (and late 20th century) and not vaccinating is abuse specially if it results in harm, it's not any different than seeing your children walking to an abyss, knowing the abyss is right there, and ignoring it because you don't care.
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you
Now we just need this pushed across all civilised nations.
