You have my sympathy (not pity). One of the best attorneys I engaged recently was totally blind (due to retinitis pigmentosa). He used a braille laptop.

From your other posts I see positives in your future. All the best in college. Tolerate the roommates as best you can.

Braille laptop or Braille typewriter? Because a laptop with Braille on it is a waste of money. He could have just memorized the keys

I worked at a treatment facility where the head psychologist is blind. Extremely interesting person, didn't seem to consider being blind as that relevant to his being. From what I've read of you, you seem to be of a similar persuasion, keep it up! Smile

From what I could tell, laptop, had a keypad and screen, braille below keypad. Laptop was reading what he had previously typed. Maybe the braille was an add on. See attachment (no pun intended).
