'NYPD Blue'. Andy Sipowicz might be one of the most compelling characters on television ever.

The third and final season of the above show.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel as though Victor and Benji were arguing over the stupidest things last season.

Ok, Bobby and Diane was supposed to be this great love story for the ages, but six weeks after Bobby's death, she's sucking face with Danny.

Bad, BAD writers.

Well, it is a cop show. Were you expecting Shakespearean tragedy?

Bad writing transcends genres.

I haven't seen the show, but perhaps she got caught up in the emotions associated with loss, the kind of grief that can be exploited by a sexual kindling sparked by another via word, touch, or mere presence.

I understand grief and seeking solace, but six weeks??

And, in reference to your earlier comment, if Shakespeare could be made aware of the tragedy in Andy's life (prostate cancer, alcoholism, son murdered, wife murdered, two partners murdered), he would gulp with disbelief.

I wasn't aware there was a time limit on grief. And besides, I sincerely doubt being sexual with another man means she didn't love the man she lost.
