What do you know today that you didn't know yesterday?
RE: What Do You Know Today That You Didn't Know Yesterday?
That when Trump waves at someone it's called microwave because of his tiny hands.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

At work.

Once people have invested significant amounts of emotion into a subject they become correspondingly recalcitrant towards change or correction. Sad

It takes 300-500gpm, minimum, to culture trout in a conventional raceway system. Full scale commercial production requires between 1k-2kgpm. The average yield is 20-40lbs of fish per gpm per year. They can be stocked in ponds, so long as largemouth bass aren't present, at a rate of 1200 fish per acre. Additionally (and only in the winter) they can be raised in suspended cages or pens at a rate of 6 fish per foot of cubic volume. Between USFWS KDFWR, and the few reamining private industries, approx 700k lb of trout are produced in the state. Largely at wolf creek damn, mostly for recreational fishing, with a consumption advisory. More than 500 suitable natural sites for production sit unused in eastern KY, abandoned deep coal mines. More than 75% of the trout consumed in the state, come from Idaho.

In order to capture -just- the uncontested market share of this one species and just for processing, a paltry $4mil...an additional 100kgpm, per year, of fresh clean water between 55 and 68 f would have to be supplied. For context, the rate of flow at the nearest highland impoundment to me, supplied by an 8,728km2 reservoir....3500gpm. It's incapable of producing the desired temperature range. They have a small trout raceway beneath that relies on supplemental cooling, which stocks the licking river.

There's a 'Licking River'?  How mad cool would it be if it emptied into 'Fondling Lake'?

There isn't really an historical Sequoia tree in Sequoia National Park, California known as "Old Sequoia," something I believed since early childhood. The tree is fictional, based upon a Disney cartoon from the mid-1940's.  Read

It's really hard to pick but, I think my favorite Twilight Zone was, "In the Eye of the Beholder". Or, "To Serve Man".
My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker. Well...she's not my girlfriend "yet".

I discovered a new vitamin that fights cancer. I call it ...B9

I also invented a diet pill. It works great but had to quit taking it because of the side effects. Turns out my penis is larger and my hair grew back. And whoa! If you think my hair is nice!

When does size truly matter? When it's TOO big!

I'm currently working on a new pill I call "Destenze". However...now my shoes don't fit.
