We can't and we shouldn't compare, but I think it's important to point out that Hitler is a singularity because of industrialising the process and maybe because the coincidence of birth warranted a death sentence in his eyes. That's up for debate, since there have been some, who came at least close to harboring the same thoughts. The thought itself wasn't and still isn't in any way original. There have been and always will be those with genocidal intents.
That's why it is important to remember and to point out every instance of dehumanization of certain groups. Because it can happen again, regardless of the country or region in question.
