For NFL fans sure, of course. But Fleebow had the same name recognition even amongst non fans of the sport. Even people who hate the sport know who Walter Payton is, much like I hate baseball but know who Babe Ruth was.
I don't even like that RG is more famous than Arian. You talk stats among fans and popularity of a player within the fan base of the league. I am talking about, those who create social change in any business.
