Well, duh, because what 2 consenting adults deciding to formalize in law their union whatever their sex will lead to child abuse and the end of the world slippery slope.
It seems to be alot of hair-splitting around the notion of consent. Also, some people doubting children's inhability to consent should just let their child walk at a busy road and tell them, go ahead, its always safe to cross. [/sarcasm]
It is remarkably ironic, since most of them teach them to believe their prefered religion. Fortunately some of us have maneuvre space to start thinking of our own, once grown.
