Since we're on the topic of the Godfather, here's another tid-bit. For those of you who have seen the movie but haven't read the book, there is an odd fixation by the author, Mario Puzo(who also wrote the movie), on the size of Sonny's penis. In fact, there's even a little sub-plot in the book about how the girl that Sonny is banging at the beginning of the movie basically gets her vagina ruined by him and sex is never pleasurable for her afterwards until she meets a nice doctor that can sew her up tight.
I guess the whole point of it was to show just how much of super macho alpha male Sonny was. It was kind of weird, though...
