She may be frigid, or have other sexual dysfunction - sure. Also possible - she's gay and can't come to terms with her own sexuality, due to conservative upbringing and religious beliefs. Embracing abstinence does not solve the problem - only buries it.
Sexuality is a biological imperative. Our bodies's and minds' functions are heavily affected by sexual activity or lack thereof. You don't turn millions of years of evolution on a dime.
Asexuality is not a dysfunction. Unless you're a professional in psychology, you're not qualified to make these judgements about asexual people.
