I am not talking about a theist not answering my OP. I am talking about a 5-10 post discussion with a person, and then POOF, they are gone.

Personally....I'm delighted when they STFU.  One gets tired of hearing the same old tired shit again and again.
But, I feel that, if I take the time to write out a response, they should AT LEAST post that they are stepping out of the conversation. I did that once.
