Ohio has a double digit unemployment rate. The number one concern with voters accross the country is the economy. Are you implying that we don't have a real economic problem?

I'm implying and saying that sluggish economic growth beats the hell out of a collapsing economy and the prospect of another Great Depression. I'm still waiting for you to explain why you feel we're in a bigger mess now than what the Republicans made.

The next highest issue of concern, is Obama's health care reform. Voters don't want it.

Detailed polling on American reaction to health care is dissatisfaction with the final bill. Of those dissatisfied, a decisive majority felt the bill didn't go far enough. A minority felt the bill went too far.

I'm curious what you would advocate. Our health care system is broken. My wife would be dead now but for the coverage my marriage provided her. I still had to liquidate my IRA to pay for her life-saving surgery that insurance denied coverage for. No other nation in the world has for-profit health insurance companies directing health care. This is like having foxes run the chicken coup.

You can't be serious. The nation is better than $13 trillion in debt. The federal budget deficit is nearly $1.5 trillion. Federal spending is now at $3.5 trillion....and Democrats think spending our way out of this is the solution?

Not just democrats. Every economist that I've heard has said the stimulus wasn't big enough.

We have a crumbling infrastructure in desperate need of repair. And when businesses and consumers have cut their own spending, only government spending can get the economy back on track. If the government cuts spending, nobody is spending and the economy implodes. See Herbert Hoover and the Great Depression for an example.

Federal spending and the national deficit is another concern cited by voters. We're not going to spend our way out of debt. Fedral spending has to be cut, and tax cuts should be extended. Cut, Cut, Cut!

I'm still waiting to hear how you're going to cut 700 billion out of the budget to cover Bush's tax cuts for the top 1% earners. Are you going to cut defense spending? Medicare? Social Security?

Setting aside how a recession is the worst time to cut government spending, Republicans need to put up or shut up about spending cuts. What? Where? How much? And it better be at least 700 billion to cover your tax cuts.
