Obama was voted into office on the promise of getting decent healthcare to all Americans. Can you not remember that? Do you have a head injury or something?
Also, healthcare fits into the issue of jobs. We're losing jobs to Canada because employers there don't have the crushing burden of providing health care benefits to their employees.
As a business owner, I can tell you that matters. My costs have been skyrocketing over the last decade. I once boasted to perspective employees that we offer coverage that Hillary Clinton would be proud of. Every year this decade we've been forced to cut back more and more to make it affordable for my small business. Now, we can't even give full coverage anymore. We just can't afford it.
