Actually, yes they do. Most of the disappointment over "Obamacare" was that it didn't go far enough.
I'm curious about what you think. Are you seriously happy with the American health care system? How would you solve the problem?

Mostly, I'm just trying to understand what he's thinking. I keep hearing "spend less" and "do something about the jobs" (most job losses have been public sector jobs), "cut taxes" and "the debt is too high". How do you spend less and create more jobs? How do you cut 700 billion in taxes and reduce the debt at the same time?
Well, regardless, as I've said, the silver lining is that now the Republicans actually have to put something forward now. They're in charge of the House which sets the budget. It's easy to say "spends less and stuff". If the president is savvy, he'll say "I'm interested to see what you guys come up with". Maybe the Republicans will embarrass themselves enough for a progressive comeback in 2012.
