31 isn't old.  I'll be 31 in December and I'm not old.

I'll be 31 in September, but I am old. How does that work?

Maybe you are not drinking enough.  Alcohol is a preservative.  I have been drinking for many years, and people who meet me pretty much all guess I am more than 10 years younger than I am.  They seem genuinely surprised if I tell them how old I am.  At 30, I looked almost like I was still a child.  Even then, I could pass for 10 years younger than I was.

Also, I get exercise and try to eat reasonably healthily.  Just a couple of days ago, I went on a hike of about 10 miles, which involved very noticeable hills, as well as scrambling over rocks that required the use of hands to get over them, and climbing down a cliff face on a narrow ledge.
