I wonder how long it would take her to be removed from her position if she refused to do part of her job because of her sincerely held beliefs about the FSM.

As far as I know, she can go to jail, but not be removed from office without the proper procedures. She's an elected official. One of the more curious aspects of the American system in my opinion. To elect judges, prosecutors, sheriffs and even clerks. Turns them into politicians more than professionals, the way I see it. With all the consequences of looking at a vote rather than the job at hand.
