Just to vent, this hold no real conversational value, but...
I've been atheist for a long time. But, I've still tried to be respectful of religious individuals and let them have their beliefs; even if they attack mine. But this whole mess with Kim Davis has my blood boiling, and I feel like I'm out of patience for religion. I see so much harm, both on a massive scale and individually, coming from holding myths to be truth. This bigoted, small-minded woman is becoming a hero to the religious, a martyr to those who have this delusion that Christians are the minority and are being persecuted. Fuck it, this is enough. Religion needs to take its final bow and be gone from humanity. People need to stop seeing fairy tales as the end-all, be-all that trumps reality.
