Secularist: Oh Christian, shouldn’t you be concerned about the environment? I mean, you have to live on this planet just like the rest of us.
Christian: This world is not my home. Jesus will return soon so why should I concern myself with the affairs of this planet? It will pass away at any rate.
Secularist: Then Christian, why are you meddeling in politics, at the forefront of the effort to deprive other people of their rights?
Christian: Well, as long as I’m here, I might as well see that god’s will is done.

The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
