Me too. It's really not unlike a religion of its own. Ann Rand is the prophet. The efficient, self-correcting, self-policing free-market is the imaginary god. The government is the devil. The trickle-down reward from tax cuts for the wealthy is the promise of their heaven.
Like a lot of ex-Muslims and ex-Christians, I look back on what I used to believe with amazement, and not the good kind.
