It's more likely that the person was a lurker who hadn't created an account until your thread or a troll who showed up for funsies and decided to choose your subject after seeing your thread.
It's also possible that they really believe this shit. It's a real religion and honestly not any less plausible than your own in my opinion.
Yes, I saw their website and saw that these people really do exist. But the fact that there are sooooo few of them, that this came right after my thread, and that he hasn't been back since, still leads me to conclude it is not a serious account.
