Like I said in an earlier post, he does have a point though. I've had a lot of nasty things said to me here when it wasn't warranted. It seems everyone is responding to this thread by saying "oh we're nice to theists if they're nice to us." And yeah, a lot of people here are like that. But there are definitely those who are not. This fact should at least be acknowledged.
I acknowledged it in my first post. I have had Christians say hurtful cruel things to me in response to me merely telling them that I don't believe in god, but I don't think all Christians are obsessed with insulting atheists.
Like I said, some people are just assholes. It has nothing to do with being atheist or Christian. But the majority of people respond to others based on how they act, not based on their religious views.
