I'm of two minds about Trump.
On the one hand, I want him to keep running. He's a joke he's making the Republican party look ridiculous. I love that he's said that if he doesn't win the GOP nom that he'll run as an independent, largely because I agree with Rachel Maddow in her assessment that such a move would split the republican voting block and almost guarantee a Democrat wins the Presidential election since the GOP base is split between the GOP nom and Trump.
On the other hand, I can see how his lunatic antics can backfire in a big, big way on the Democratic party. If he doesn't win the GOP nom and doesn't follow through with his promise to run as an independent, what we're effectively left with is a GOP nom who now looks resoundingly sane in the wake of Hurricane Trump.
