Jesus saved you from hell
Good news, Neimenovic!
I made this torture chamber in my basement and I was going to put you in it because I think you're a bad person.
But instead, I decided to relent and torture my son, in your place. For a couple of days, anyway. It was going to be permanent for you.
Since my son got tortured in your place, he saved you from my basement torture chamber!
You still deserve torture, but if you just act like my son wants you to act, and I want you to act, I won't have to send you to the torture chamber. Of course, if you choose not to love my son, think nice things aloud about me, and at least try your best to obey my commands, then I'm still gonna have to torture you. It's justice for what a horrible person you are. You're just like everyone else on earth. Horrible! So don't get tortured, let me give you the free gift of avoiding my torture chamber, for the low low cost of obedience.
Aren't I great?
What do you mean you don't understand why you owe me anything in the first place? Do you WANT to go to the torture chamber?
Don't you know that I already tortured my son on your behalf?
How do you know I tortured my son for you? Well, I wrote it all down, of course! Well... I didn't... but someone did!
What do you mean you think I sound like a psychopath? Yeah, you're going in the basement RIGHT NOW for not believing I tortured my son for your wrongdoing that you didn't know about until I just told you, mister!!
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
