Naturalism doesn't exclude the role of meaning or significance. It just doesn't provide a ready-made explanation for them. But then, neither do the alternatives which basically boil down to, "it's magic."
To simulate is our magic. Probably missed Chad's reference earlier as it always seemed obvious to me. Saying a point can only come from a creator god excludes us from being creator gods. Which is downright absurd.
