Also, it's possible that there might not have been a Big Bang singularity after all (as per the rainbow gravity theory). This is a fairly recent hypothesis/theory but the jury is still out on this one. But regardless, the expansion itself is real and, in a sense, observable (just not with the naked eye). Whereas with God, nothing has been observed that would conclusively point to such an entity existing. The best that theists can do is come up with flawed philosophical arguments and appeal to subjective experience in a vague manner.
