Firstly you should take your own advice ("don't be a retard"). Your understanding of the scientific method, of evolutionary theory, and of the process of discovery is so abysmally wrong -- not to mention your admission that you have remained deliberately ignorant -- that you lecturing anyone else about a lack of intelligence goes beyond irony ... we're well into hypocrisy.

Secondly, if you think my example was "retarded", then for consistency's sake you must think of your own that way as well, because just as your mother didn't die the moment you were born, and just as Europeans remained extant even as some of them became Americans, so too did our parent stocks remain around after we began our evolutionary journey to humanity.

Thirdly, the previous iteration of evolution prior to Darwin has been cast off by science, and that happened when Darwin and Wallace presented the theory of natural selection. This renders your "point" irrelevant -- a red herring.
