No, it's not. What counts is... nothing about kudos.
But if anything did count it would be the relation between number of kudos received and number of posts made, or kudos/post ratio. It might be wise to also include time since joining the forums in the equation. If you post enough, over enough time - even if it's all atrocious nonsense - you're bound to get a bunch of kudos, presumably because of people occasionally mis-clicking, when trying to reply, which is easy when one's sight is compromised by red mist of anger.
Case in point: our resident hindu cultist, who annoys the f*** out of anybody trying to have a rational discussion with him, by spewing mind-boggling, troll-grade idiocy about consciousness of rocks and "intuitional science" - he currently has 53 (or 6 pages) kudos. It's very little - especially for someone who's been here for years and has over 1500 posts - but on its own the number of kudos still looks way more "impressive" than he deserves, comparing to relatively new members, who are at least trying to make sense...
Incidentally - he himself has given out 15 (2 pages) kudos in total, which goes to show that however low opinion we may have of him - he has way lower opinion of us - which is a large part of what makes his stubborn struggle against reality so infuriating. But I digress...
In short, my point is - if we're going to have a pissing contest, we should make it as balanced, complicated, dorky and not-fun as possible...

ETA: Dang it - I really have put too much thought into this, haven't I?
