A flat tax is not good for the economy. Someone making 10k a year is going to be struggling enough without having 1k taken from him. A guy making 10b a year is still going to be a billionaire when you take 1b from him.

The defense budget, which is currently 57% of our spending, is what needs cutting the most.

I'd like to be able to fix the debt without raising the ceiling some more. That seems counterproductive.
