My biggest concern is controller. I'm used to the Xbox controller. As far as games, I planned on buying the most recent NHL... and that's it. I'd also use it to watch Netflix and HBO Go. I'm not that much a gamer anymore but the new Silent Hill looks sick. Price-wise, what do the Xbox One and PS4 go for nowadays? What are the pro and con arguments for which one I should buy?
The PS4 is actually a more powerful machine, because its memory is better. Often times Xbox One games have to make concessions, like a slightly lower resolution, to get a game to run correctly. The new Halo wasn't able to pull off co-op play and a high frame rate and resolution, so co-op was cut. The PS4 doesn't have to worry about issues like that.
The PS4 controller is also better than the Xbox One controller, in my opinion, and that's coming from someone that has always strongly preferred Xbox controllers. I do have to have a grip cover on it to fit my hand better, though.
The Xbox does have the new Halo, though, but the biggest thing I wish I could play is Gears of War. Of course, I'll probably forget about that when Uncharted 4 comes out...
