Who is excited about the new Star Trek series?

Sure, there were some truly awful episodes and storyline, "Move Along Home", for example. But there were also some of the best Trek episodes, in my opinion, ever made. Watch "The Visitor" for an example.

"The Visitor" is one of the most poignant episodes of television - not Star Trek, but television on the whole - I've ever seen. Everyone gushes about TNG's "Inner Light" (and rightfully so, since it's a beautiful episode in it's own right), but "The Visitor" is just a superior episode. More personal, more tragic, more touching.... Jake's choice at the end, and Benjamin's reaction to it are just heartwrenching.

I don't usually get emotional while consuming media. "The Visitor" had me this close to blubbering like a baby.
