You're a mod! It's your job! Wink Plus I thought you were following the topic.

No, in NO debate is it my job to prove YOUR argument!

Well, excuse me

check on that page for more accurate figures.

Mine are figures from 2008. 3% actual Christians.

The OFFICIAL figures are 70% or thereabouts and, excuse me for being cynical of concerning your claims, but until the next census comes around (which I'm willing to bet will reflect figures one frakk of a lot closer to 70% than 3%) I think we'll just have to accept them. Populations don't just drop from 71% to 3% in 9 years so, laugh your arse off all you like, you and I both know your laughter is hollow and that come next census I'm far more likely to be the one laughing.

Which, incidentally, brings me to an observation ... it strikes me in many respects that this (this debate, I mean the whole thing) is about honour and credulity. It strikes me that most atheists I know are atheists for a reason, they've looked at the evidence, worked it through in their heads and concluded that the only rational philosophical conclusion is that current claims to deity are wrong (at best premature). Yet time and time again I see theists argue in spite of the evidence, in spite of the fact that similar arguments have been debunked a thousand times before, they still raise the same old crap ... so I can only conclude that theists do not care about objectivity and credulity and honour they only care about winning and they will attempt to do so AT ANY COST.

Unlike the picture you're painting, there's 100% acceptance of a single creed and text in the Christian world. Wild variations like JWs, LDS, WBC, etc etc etc bare no resemblance to Christianity at all, less so other faiths. Unlike your assertion, Christianity is ultimately tolerant of all faiths.

The No True Scotsman fallacy doesn't apply at all, as I've also detailed clearly on another post. There is no true Christian :-

And there you see is more than adequate evidence of exactly what I said above.

Jehovah's Witnesses ARE Christians. Latter Day Saints ARE Christians. Westboro Baptist Church ARE Christians. You, just don't like the kind of Christians they are and that, I'm afraid is absolute classic No True Scotsman and an example of totally disingenuous debating tactics.

Christians do act like non Christians most of the time
To be a Christian is not a grey area - you are either over the line or you're not. Very simple. You can't for example, like 1/2 the UK population, say that you are a Christian when you're not. There are certain hard and fast requirements that make you either Christian or not. Churches have a pretty good idea about how many people this is, and their figures in 2008 were 3% of the UK population. Do you really see yourself surrounded by 70% of people that disagree with you? Don't make me laugh!

(Your comments re my answers to you about Hitler are way off my meaning - you've lost me there.)

I agree you are either Christian or you are not, I think you operate on an NTS basis when you try to dismiss the vats majority of self-declared Christians in this country as non-Christian. The rest of your supposed logic is just the usual apologist denial and, to be honest, I'm bored of your crap now.
