RE: Trump Calls For Moratorium on Muslim Immigrants

There's a great segment in one of Karen Armstrong's books that deal with expansionism/dominionism in judeo-christian religions (like islam). She feels, and I agree, that it was an effort by the Ummah (just to be specific to our conversation) to export it's violence to the borders and fringes, away from "civilization". Basically, you give your worst criminals and thugs a coat of arms and tell them to rape and pillage in your name. This has a dual effect, filling your coffers and expanding your influence, while creating peace at home through absence. This was certainly the Indian subcontinents model of continuous westward cultural expansion during the "axial age" - culminating in the melting pot of the ANE from whence all this nonsense springs. We continued it ourselves, seeking an unbroken band of white civilization spanning the globe, and more recently as expressed in the cadence "go to war or go to jail".
