Trump will say more and more outrageous things until he goes too far and realises that actually he has offended everyone and even his supporters will think "hold on a minute ...".
His popularity will start to wane until something dramatic happens like a failed assassination attempt or some Daesh leader urging Americans to vote Hilary Clinton which will create a surge of support for Donald Trump.
Meanwhile the rest of the world will be doing a collective face-palm.
