Exactly. It depends on how literally people take it. No one now a days takes the Old Testament so literally that they believe in a sky dome. I mean, I'm sure if you google it you'll find some people out there who do, as you'll find people out there for everything. But this is by no means some sort of mainstream, common, Christian belief. And so I object to the notion that ET life is in conflict with modern Christianity.
