What was you first concert

Mom and dad took us kids to see Mel Tillis and Moe Bandy back in 1979.

First arena show I went to was Rush, at the LA Forum, in October of 1987.

I knew Moe Bandy back when he was in high school.  Funny, I grew up on country music and can't stand it now.
The first concert was Foghat, Emerson, lake, & Palmer, and Head East (?)  1972-73  one of the loudest I ever recall.

OP - I saw VH 1984 in Vegas was like the next to last concert before the break-up, someone threw a silky handkerchief with a heavy object in it and hit him right in the eye as he slid up to the edge of the stage on his knees and the whole band came to a screeching halt.  He was pissed and screaming and cussing and threatened to turn the whole auditorium into a riot to punish who ever threw it.  The bassist put on a solo show that was beyond description, like tossing the guitar from 15 feet up right in the middle of the stage the noise... it made...  and the show stopped short.
