It's true though. The philosophy of science will get you something science won't, for instance.

Karl Popper's philosophy of science is what led to the idea of falsifiability which is highly helpful to the applied scientific method.

Also logic and mathematics will get you answers that science won't.

I'm a fan of philosophy and the sciences.
