Nice, Tibs.
You should definitely watch some games, Evie. If you like competitive sports, and can look past the repeated head trauma, this game is surprisingly technical and skill based.
And if you like gambling, you would love Daily Fantasy Football. Instead of a whole season, you can do it just on Sunday/Monday, and for a little bit of money. I usually play the tournaments, where you buy in for $5, and if you finish in the top half (of 30k+ people) you will win money. You can win up to a million bucks, but the guys who do that consistently are running algorithms that calculate a players' career average against the team they're playing, weather conditions, pressure situations, they have people monitoring player sickness, etc. You can get lucky, but it's just like a casino. The house wins.
Also, you can go head to head. $5 in, $9 to the winner. Those are fun as hell.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
