I don't know if anyone is debating whether the rapist is to blame. I believe the denbate is more about whether the woman should take some responsibility for her own actions or not.
Well, actually, MY point was that alcohol is certainly not to blame, so let's not use that as a reason to let anyone off the hook. Yes the drunk en, abusive father's behaviors are triggered by the booze lowering his inhibitions, but he is still an ABUSER. Many fathers occasional get drunk but don't abuse their families.
