No, it's not.
It's technically a Godwin, but the truth is that the anti-gun liberals are equally as dangerous as the NRA. They are people who know none of the actual facts on the weapons which they proscribe, and they have either no knowledge or no empathy for the honest person who has no personal connections with law enforcement and cannot afford round-the-clock protection as they do. Maybe it's because being political, and therefore chronic liars, they project their own dishonesty on everyone else. Honest or not, a non-violent person deserves every bit the right to defend himself against whatever may threaten them as any cop trained thug with a badge.
