Democracies are easier to manipulate. The other types of government... not so much.

I disagree. A dictatorship is never truly one person, it is a group of people putting up a front man. Some are open about this like Soviet Russia and the pulitboro or fascist Italy. Infact Mussolini said himself that himself that fascism is the rule of the corporations.

That same sentiment applies to all of the above. Corporations rule the world, they provide the resources required to keep the wheels turning.
However a democracy contains a variety of opportunities to exploit for any individuals with the wiles to do so. Although maybe I was mistaken; a Theocracy might be easier to navigate in that sense. The Derren Browns of this world would have the mindless masses eating out of the palms of their hands.
