I'm aware of the fact that just because my parents are Muslim doesn't mean that Islam has to be right. Of course not. I have studied the religion by myself and found that Islam has the most sensible concept of God out of all the other religions.
And your decision was not influenced by the fact that Islam was pounded into your head from the time you could talk? Because I'm sure any Mormon, Catholic, Hindu, etc. would make the same proclamation about their religion.

What is unique about the Koran? It's a book of fairy tales just like all the other "holy books".
Quote:There is more proof for Islam because it is the last religion
Uh.... no, it's not. For starters, Mormonism popped up in the 19th century. And Scientology is even more recent. And, in any case, this would make me think the religion is LESS LIKELY to be true. Why did this deity wait so long before revealing himself? Why wait until the 7th or 8th century before showing up? And why in only ONE place? If this deity is real, you would think he'd reveal himself to people all over the world. But we only find this particular deity in ONE culture. Just like we'd expect with a made-up god.

Really? It's "well documented" that your prophet rode a winged horse up to heaven?
Quote:I presented my arguments for Islam in many other places in the forum. So, even if I was born into a different family or in a different culture then it's also possible that I would've converted to Islam (but again, I'm not sure about that).
I highly doubt this to be true. If you were born into a Roman Catholic or Jewish family you would almost certainly still be Roman Catholic or Jewish. (Or an atheist if you saw the light.)
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?
