I don't think so. There are things about it that make it better than any other religion on offer. Those things are not to blame for the conduct of certain people. I know who I sound like right now, but we can't exactly equate Islam with Buddhism. We can however do that with people.
I didn't say anyone in any of the religions were assholes because of their religions. I said, "Like any religion, Buddhism has assholes in it."
I didn't equate Buddhism with any religion, except to point out that they all have assholes in them.
