What do Christians Mean by "Restoe our Nation?"

But to Restore it is to put God back into how we govern ourselves. to restore it back to how our founding Fathers established it

I'm intrigued how you can reconcile this view with the Constitution, which states:

"but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States." (Article VI, Clause 3)

Additionally, the 1st Amendment states:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"

It seems, then, that the founding fathers made it quite explicit that "God" should not be involved in how we govern ourselves, but rather that public officials did not have to be religious, and that the government of the United States could not declare any official religion.

What makes you think otherwise?

And then there's the Treaty of Tripoli which states that the US was not founded as a Christian nation.
