You think so? How is it then that you think the term god doesn't describe anything in a deistic context? It describes whatever the deist in question says it does (you simply doubt the accuracy of the attribution). All you've refered to is what god describes in a particular theistic context and said..."see....it's not the same thing."

You think that theism added meaning to god, and it did...to theistic gods. Theism, however, has nothing to do with the meaning of god to a deist or a deistic god. It's completely irrelevant.
