Question is this” how is it that we give serious scientific consideration to the possibility of the existence of dark matter, and consciousness but dismiss the possibility of spirit when evidence for all these is based on the same thing.
The difference is that the rich body of physical observations and explanations we call science needs dark matter-- it is the best explanation for things we can actually observe. As for spirit-- well, it's not really a necessary piece in any part of the puzzle.
