So there's absolutely no chance that this is what actually happened?
If you see the same signal with 7 millisecond delay in two detectors thousands of miles apart, there is nothing that can travel this fast except radio waves snd gravitational waves. Actually, I'm not sure anything can travel this fast I think because any signal can only go 2000 km in that time.
