But Creationism does posit that humans were created in their current form. Which is patently false. Hence, mutual exclusivity.
Now, I know you have a wonderful habit of bending the definitions of words to mean things they don't normally mean, so if by creationism you mean that the entire Biblical account of Creation is false, and that some deistic wizard being poofed the first life into existence and bade evolution to carry on from there leaving no evidence of itself, then, by all means, you're right.
