That's just it, the bible never states that humans were created in their current form, If you remember the Bible clearly states that God made man in his own image, which was spirit. This takes place In the first chapter of Genesis, man was not given a physical form until the third chapter, which was Adam. Who by the way lived 900+ years so if anything, man devolved
So, for all the rich detail in Genesis god just happened to leave out the story of how man evolved (or devolved) after creation? He just figured we'd infer it? This makes sense to you? For a guy who loves to tell stories, it seems weird that he would choose to leave out such a big one from his book.
