Those are not insults. Those are statements concerning his arguments. Two very different things. You are not your ideas. If I criticize your ideas, I don't criticize you as a person.
If you say a Christian's claim to knowledge is ridiculous, baseless and irrational you're not insulting the Christian. You're criticising his ideas.
